The FOCB annual children's Christmas Party.

The Florida Outreach Center for the Blind will be hosting its annual holiday party for visually-impaired children and their families in Palm Beach County and surrounding areas. The event will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, December 13th, 2008, at the Salvation Army Hall. The address is:

2122 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.
West Palm Beach, FL 33409

The purpose of this event is to give blind children and their families an opportunity to share vital support, encouragement and resources with one another. Positive blind role models will be on hand to answer questions and pass out literature.

The puppy raisers and their pups from Southeastern Guide Dog School will be present to welcome guests. There will be a special visit from that jolly old man from the North Pole, Santa Claus, who will have a gift for each boy and girl that was chosen especially for them. Santa's elves will also be there to pass out candy and sprinkle snow on each little head. There will be plenty of door prizes, fun-filled activities and refreshments. All of the families will receive a goody bag full of surprises to take home.

Parents need to R.S.V.P. as soon as possible so Santa and his elves will know how many boys and girls to make gifts for. All children must be sixteen years old or younger. If your family plans to attend our party, please contact Carolyn Lapp at (561) 640-6029 or via E-mail at: info_focb@bellsouth.net. We hope your family will join us in celebrating the holiday season.

If you would like to make a tax deductible gift toward our party, mail your check to FOCB at:
